Tajik cadet at the East-Siberian Institute of the Russian Interior Ministry killed

DUSHANBE, June 21, 2016, Asia-Plus – A Tajik cadet at the East Siberian Instituted of the Russian Interior Ministry has been killed in Irkutsk.

Sarvar Bakhti, a spokesman for the Tajik Embassy in Moscow, says the incident took place on June 12.  “Unknown assailants inflicted several stab wounds on the 20-year-old Saidshoh Islomov, the seond-year student at at the East-Siberian Institute of the Russian Interior Ministry in Irkutsk,” Bakhti said.

According to him, the assailants have been detained and an investigation is under way.

“The body of Saidshoh Islomov will be sent to Tajikistan today evening,” the spokesman said.
