Tajik, Kyrgyz foreign ministers meet in Brussels to discuss cooperation

DUSHANBE, February 17, 2016, Asia-Plus – On Tuesday February 16, Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Aslov met with his Kyrgyz counterpart Erlan Abdyldayev in Brussels to discuss cooperation, according to the Tajik MFA information department.

The two, in particular, discussed bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan in the fields of energy and border management.

Aslov and Abdyldayev also exchanged views on issues related to regional security and the latest developments in Afghanistan, the source said.

We will recall that Aslov was in Brussels to participate in the fifth meeting of the EU-Tajikistan Cooperation Council.
